Dear Landlord,
As you’ve probably noticed, I have vacated my apartment. For many reasons that don’t concern you, I have found shelter elsewhere. But one reason that you should be informed of is the blatant disregard for security and privacy that you and your management and have bestowed upon your tenants. I have documented several incidents where my apartment has been entered without the standard 24 hour notice or any mention of it afterwards. These incidents are a violation of lease, and they are against the law. One of these break-ins’s resulted in the destruction of the showerhead, which I installed. And the desecration of my bathroom by an incompetent “plumber”.
Another mentionable would involve the dry, dirty, used feminine products littering the parking lot. Such a thing would be unbearable to most.
I have no desire to pursue legal action. However, if you somehow believe that the above does not emancipate me from our contract, my attorney would be exultant to speak with you and your menagerie. My deposit can be sent to the above address. I shall expect it no later than October 31st.
